Horntail

In order to enter Horntail's cave you must have either be transformed into a cornian or have a certificate of the dragon squad

Speak with Chief Tatamo in Leafre and start the quest War of the Dragons
Find Moira at Cave of Life: Entrance where you will start the quest Secret Medicine for Transformation. DO NOT TURN IN THIS QUEST UNLESS YOU READY TO GO INTO HORNTAIL
1. - Obtain 10 Tough Dragon Skins from Wyverns
  - 1 Cornian Dagger (Kill Dark Cornains for a busted dagger and go to Mos with 1 mithril plate and 1 plate to obtain the dagger)
  - 1 Cornian's Marrow from Cornains
  - 1 Skull Shoulder Pad from Dark Cornians
  - 1 Manon's Cry from Manon
Once you are ready to go into Horntail, complete the quest and you will be transformed into a cornian and can speak with NPC Keroben (bottom of the map) to be brought into Horntail
Now that you have entered, you can choose to do the HTPQ which will allow you to complete the quest Badge of a Squad Member. Completing this quest allows you to never have to repeat the Secret Medicine Quest (and thus do not have to hunt Manons)
1. - If you wish to do this, make sure to have already obtained a Zakum Certificate, Papulatus Certificate and Pianus Certificate.
While in HTPQ, obtain 3 Mark of the Squad etcs in order to complete the quest and obtain a certificate of the dragon squad.

Have 6 members in a party and have the party leader speak with the NPC at the top right (Encrypted Slate of the Squad)
Killing mobs in HTPQ will have a chance of dropping the Marks of Squad
You will be transported into stage 1:
- - Kill all the cornian mobs in the map and one of them will drop a key. Have one designated person hold and collect the keys (CAN NOT BE THE PT LEADER). This person will stay outside as more keys will drop from the tree
  - Members can then go into the portal at the top left where they need to complete a jump quest and kill the mobs which will trigger keys to drop outside (that one person should be collecting them)
  - Once everyone is out, the person will drop all the keys to the PT leader and can move onto the next stage
Stage 2:
- - Everyone will be transported into a room where ONLY one person will hit the lantern. Hit it once and it should glow up and proceed to the next stage
Stage 3:
- - Kill all the skelegons in the map and pick up all 6 keys. Give the keys to the leader and they will go over the wall to speak with the NPC
Once these 3 stages are completed you are done however if not enough Mark of Squads dropped, repeat by speaking with the crystal NPC to be ported out and repeat
After everyone has 3 Mark of Squads, and the quest is completed, prequests are no longer needed to enter horntail (Do not drop your certificate of dragon squad)

There are 3 rooms for Horntail: the right head, left head and full body
The first 2 rooms are relatively simple with just killing the heads
The 3rd room, have everyone be in position which is located at the very bottom right corner. Everyone should be behind the rope as the first part to kill is the tail.
To trigger Horntail to appear, one person must break the purple crystal located at the right side.
Horntail will seduce you throughout the entire run thus its important for a party to have a bishop or hero's will.
After the tail is dead, legs and left arm are next priority as the left arm triggers most of the seduction.
Dark Wyverns should be killed immediately upon spawn as they will strip buffs (including magic guard)
Deaths and DCs are common so make sure to have wheels and safety charms along with GFX or reopening clients.
Eggs are a guaranteed drop however the pendant is not. MW20 is also a 1/50 drop
Make sure to clear at least 2 etc spaces in your inventory to receive your reward
Horntail clears will give 2 GMLs per run and can only be done twice a day
Since Horntail causes alot of DCs upon completion and someone DCs, screenshot your party in case you need to ask for GM assistance

Used in order to obtain the scroll for HTP. Complete The Missing Hero quest
