Hi! I am Manya Agrawal

I am a transitioning Junior pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical engineering with a technical breadth in Computer Science from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). My anticipated date of graduation is June 2024.

I am very passionate about automated robots, artificial intelligence, design, and finance. I have done diversified projects relevant to many industries such as Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Automobile industry etc. I am proficient in in C++, HTML, IoT, SolidWorks, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Microsoft Office.

In summer 2022, I interned at Manufacturing x Digital (MxD, https://www.mxdusa.org/) where I devised IoT solutions pertaining to the Industry 4.0. We educate small manufacturers on how to digitize their industries with automated solutions. Furthermore in summer 2021, I interned at the IoT department at Tech Mahindra in 2020 where I used my skills to develop a 'Continuous Exhaust Monitoring System' to decrease automobile exhaust pollution. I have pursued many team and individual projects like Home Automation System, Contactless IR thermometer.

At UCLA, I am the Director of Professional Development in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). I not only manage the industrial relations for ASME but also regularly organize career fairs, info-sessions, resume workshops etc. Outside of academics, I love reading, playing basketball and enjoying the outdoors.
