ABSENCES & LATENESS
It is a shared responsibility to ensure all children make it to school safely and in good health. You need to let us know when your child is absent and why. Contacting us with this information before 8 am prevents us from disturbing your workday to ensure your child is safe.
To inform the school of your child's absence, there are 3 possibilities:
Email Ms. Tara Graves (gravest@etsb.qc.ca) and specify why your child is absent.
Call Ms. Tara Graves at (450) 292-5622 ext 11165
Report your child's absence via the Parent Portal — https://portailparents.ca/accueil/en/
CHANGES TO YOUR CHILD'S END-OF-DAY ROUTINE
For security reasons, it is very important to inform the office, Ms. Tara Graves, of any change (bus, daycare, pick-up) to your regular schedule before 1:00 pm.
Please call the school at (450) 292-5622 ext 11165 so we can ensure that Ms. Tara Graves has time to transfer the information to your child's teacher.
MEDICATION at School
Only medicine prescribed by a doctor can be administered to children at school. If we need to administer medicine to your child, please call the office and fill out the consent form. Prescription medication must be kept under lock and key and given by an adult and never left for the child to take alone.
We will not administer any medicine sold at a pharmacy without the expertise of a doctor.
It is not allowed for your child to have any medicine (including Tylenol, Benadryl, throat lozenges etc) in their lunch box and to take it on their own.
This is a safety issue, and we appreciate your collaboration.
