Through the Eyes of a Child, Painting for Prevention
Through the Eyes of a Child, Painting for Prevention is a public art project meant to create inspiration and hope when considering the perspective of children. This project aims to create awareness during Child Abuse Prevention month in April, and National Adoption Month in May, by elevating the issue through uplifting and creative imagery to be displayed in the heart of the Imagination District in Downtown Mansfield.

Richland County Children Services partnered with Mankind Murals Inc and the RCDG Mansfield Arts & Culture Sector, to commission 10 artwork concepts to be painted on 4' x 8' exterior panels. The art installations will initially be hosted at The Renaissance Theatre and the Buckeye Imagination Museum.
Recovery and Remembrance, The Jericho Wall
The Jericho Wall is a wall 7' tall and 160' long running parallel to (but not visible from) Third Street across from the Buckeye Imagination Museum. It will serve as a remembrance for victims of addiction — particularly those who have died of overdoses — and as an encouragement on the path of recovery. It will be a hope-filled, comfort-inducing, faith-oriented and educational-based space that is stunning it in artistic presentation, featuring the work of a consortium of local artists, guided by the thoughts and visions of many who are in recovery in Mansfield.
