Manor ISD CIA
CURRICULUM, Instruction, and
ASSESSMENT
The Manor ISD Curriculum & Instruction Department has created a site to provide our MISD teachers a place to locate our district resources. Our goal for this site is to provide useful information about our district C&I department that is necessary for all departments, campus leadership, and teachers to know about our district’s requirements for curriculum, instruction, and assessment planning and alignment.

MISD Curriculum & Instruction Mission Statement
Manor ISD will build a culture of collaborative professional learning that supports engaging, relevant instruction aligned to a standards-based curriculum that produces outstanding student achievement and lifelong learning that can be observed, monitored, measured, and evaluated.
We believe…
Every scholar deserves equitable access to an excellent education. Each and every scholar has the potential to meet or exceed grade-level standards.
Educators play a central role in the success of all scholars through establishing and maintaining grade-level expectations and setting goals with scholars to help them monitor their own learning trajectory.
Assessments are part of a comprehensive, coherent education system that leads to teachers refining their practice to benefit our scholars.
Assessments used for instructional purposes demonstrate high quality through alignment to grade-level standards, reflect cultural relevance, and improve how we address bias and historical marginalization of our scholars.
