Rights and Description of Goods
The seller agrees they have the right to sell the goods either as owner or agent for the owner. Where possible the seller will provide an accurate description of goods and responsibility will lie with the seller for any inaccuracies. We will assume the seller has approved of our own catalogue description. Liability for inaccurate descriptions lie entirely with the seller and the seller agrees to reimburse us the sale proceeds where inaccuracies are found. Photographs may be taken of items for illustrative and promotional purposes unless the seller opts out
Goods may be offered subject to a reserve agreed upon beforehand by ourselves and the seller. Any reserve will not account for any commission payable. Reserves must be reasonable and we may decline to accept goods where we feel the reserve is unreasonable
If an item is unsold we may with the seller’s consent re-offer at a future sale or where in our opinion the item is unsaleable the seller must collect such item promptly otherwise storage charges may apply
Once an item has been catalogued the seller will incur a 10% charge of the reserve or lower estimate if the seller withdraws an item prior to sale
All lots remain the property of the seller until fall of hammer. Whilst every care will be given any loss or damage incurred will be borne by the seller
Payment will be in cash or BACS on day of sale in most cases but no later than 7 days after the sale. The seller authorises us to deduct commision at 15% and any other costs as above
