What is Neighbor Choice?
Neighbor Choice trusts and allows people to choose the foods and other products that are best for themselves and/or their families or households, just like they would at the grocery store.
Let’s define the levels of choice we use at MANNA.
· No Choice - All Food is Pre-Boxed
· Limited Choice - Neighbors May be Able to Choose Additional Items, or Decline Items, but Most Food is Still Pre-Boxed
· Modified Choice - Neighbors May be Able to Choose from a Menu or Point to Items, but Volunteers or Staff Still Select and Box the Food
· Full Choice - Neighbors May Touch and Select Their Own Food, Just Like in a Grocery Store – The Gold Standard!
