Twelve years of age, a proud student of St. Patrick’s Vidhya Bhawan and a student of Shivam Natyalum undertaking training in Bharatanatyam under the guidance of Guru Manjusha Saxena from two and half years of age and have gained many honors for her.
Manasvi the pride of Rajasthan’s Jodhpur city is a born dancer, very energetic and her love for dance is unconditional. The tiny feet started taping nonstop to any tunes or beats which fell on her ears from one and half years of age.
Her skills for dancing was noticed when her mother took her for a wedding where she became a center of attraction as she started dancing along with the dhol and gained a lot of compliment. Her grandfather insisted her mother enroll Manasvi in dance classes where she would get proper training.
Her Mother being a Doctor and coming from a Medical background was not much aware of classical dance. She was searching for some good classes and came across a Bharatanatyam School in her area. Manasvi was just two and a half so the teacher insisted to wait for few more years as she was too small to learn classical dance.
Her mom convinced the teacher to teach her or rather make her sit and see the dance so that she can acquire the knowledge. Looking at a mother’s anxiousness to teach her child dance, Manasvi was allowed for few classes. She was so happy to learn the dance that in two days she was able to learn Namaskars and captured perfectly the things thought to her. Impressed by this little girl her guru Manjusha Saxena was ready to take her as a shishya.
Manasvi started her journey in the world of dance and slowly she was able to learn many things. Though language was a problem she grasped it too well. She did her 1st performance when she was three and a half. It was a Medical college function with an audience of more than 2500; she proudly presented herself and made everyone fall in love with her.
Later on from every year, her performance was a must in every function. There was no stopping her, she gave many performances in school and other programs. She was 7 years when she competed in 24 channels and came in the top five.
She feels lost when she starts dancing, rhythm, movement, and expressions she captures each and every movement very well, her feet just can’t stop when she listens to music. She started admiring Madhuri Dixit a lot and used to see all her dance performance. Luckily she got a chance to dance with her favorite actress, Madhuri Dixit, in a dance reality show and it was dream come true.
By the time she was 10 years of age, she completed her 9years of Bharatanatyam course. She was the first in Rajasthan to be a younger Bharatanatyam dancer at such a young age and was awarded for the same. She is the world’s 2nd youngest artist to perform for 1 and a half hours continuously in front of her teachers, her guru, principal, and a crowd of more than 2000.
Dance is her passion which she will not leave and continue with her Bharatanatyam and take more certification for herself. She has not stopped herself in this pandemic and has learned many activities chess, calligraphy, painting cooking, and has participated in many dance competitions too. She has more than 5million views on youtube.
Manasvi gains happiness, confidence, and energy when she dances. She has also learned folk, western semi-classical, ghoomer and Kathak. She likes to learn new dance forms and looks up on to actresses like Hema Malini and Vayjanti Mala.
She wants to grow up and become a collector and serve society and wants to dance and participate in the competition and represent India.
