I, Manas, received my undergrad degree in Electrical Engineering in 2015 from the West Bengal University of Technology. But, my zeal and resolution helped me rank among the top 2% of students in GATE-2015 and the top 1% of students in the OCES/DGFS examination of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Certainly, I am the luckiest man in the world, for my GATE rank brought me the opportunity to learn from Dr. Souvik Chattopadhyay at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP). In my two years tenure at IIT-KGP, I was also guided by Dr. Shiladri Chakraborty and Partha Das.

After two years of tenure at IIT-KGP, I joined Delta Electronics India Private Limited as a Control and Design Engineer in the research and development department and was trained by Dr.-ing Shashidhar Mathapati, Partha Das, Nagaraju Karri, Dr. Saroj Sahoo, Rangesh Babu. Most importantly, Kumpal Patel helped me polish my embedded programming skills.

My curiosity to know and learn newer things propelled me forward and brought me the reward of joining the Indian Institutes of Science, Bengaluru. At IISc, I was supervised by Prof. Vinod John, Dr. Vishnu Mahadeva Iyer,  and Dr. Utsab Kundu.  I will always be grateful to Dr. Anwesha Mukhopadhyay for helping me in connecting different subjects such as Numerical Methods, Signals and systems, and Control Systems for the Digital Implementation of controllers in Power Electronics.

Currently, I am working towards my PhD at the University of Washington, Seattle under the guidance of Dr. Jungwon Choi
