Project Description: For this project, I gathered various media samples from Creative Commons and properly attributed them.
I found the first image on The Spruce website titled 'Plants With Big Flowers' by searching their database
The image was sourced from The Spruce's website and is licensed under CC-BY-NC 2.0
I have downloaded the medium sized version of the image from The Spruce's website
As per the CC BY-NC 2.0 license, anyone can: Share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

I found an audio file called "Ocean Waves" on Apple Music. I chose it because it gives off a super relaxing beach vibe, and I thought it would be perfect for my project.
The file is in MP3 format, and I downloaded it so I could upload it to my Google Drive and embed it on my website.
This audio is shared under the CC BY 4.0 license, which basically means:
Anyone can share it (copy, redistribute, and use it however they want, even for commercial purposes).
It can be remixed or changed to create something new.
I have to give credit to the original creator, include a link to the license, and mention if I made any changes—without making it seem like the original creator is endorsing my work.
So yeah, I got my audio from Apple Music and made sure to follow the licensing rules!
I downloaded this GIF file and uploaded it to Google Drive so I could embed it on my website.
It's shared under the CC BY 4.0 license, which means:
Anyone can share it (copy, redistribute, and use it in any format).
It can be remixed or modified for any purpose, even commercially.
The only catch? Attribution. I have to give credit to the original creator, link to the license, and mention if I made any changes—all in a way that doesn’t imply the creator endorses my work.
I uploaded this video by selecting "Youtube" on Google's sites. This video teaches young kids their ABCs and may only be used for non-commerical purposes.
Lesson Learned
Looking back on this project, I’ve learned a lot. At first, I struggled with working across different types of media since I hadn’t really explored them in depth before. Figuring out how to integrate and share different formats was definitely a challenge. But along the way, I realized how important Creative Commons licenses are and why properly crediting media matters. Despite the challenges, I pushed through and came out with a much better understanding of how to manage and attribute media the right way.
