東京の下町、台東区にある小さな画廊です。
戦火を逃れた古い民家を改装、DIYで仕上げた、手作りの空間です。
あたたかく小さな灯が心にともるような画廊になれればと、
「まめでんきゅう画廊」と名付けました。

We are a small art gallery located in Taito-ku, downtown Tokyo.
It is a handmade space, renovated from an old private house that escaped the war and finished by DIY.
We named it “mamedenkyu Gallery” in the hope that it will be a gallery that lights up your heart with a warm, small light.
We look forward to your visit.
＊”mamedenkyu” means miniature light bulb.

OYSTERLAND STUDIO（オイスターランド・スタジオ）はスウェーデンを拠点に活動するアーティストCamilla BlomとJohan Månssonによるアートユニットです。2023年の初来日展に続き、まめでんきゅう画廊での2度目の展覧会です。
『VÅGLÄNGD』（邦題：波のトーン）と題した本展では、海のリズムと反復をグラフィカルに表現した作品を展示します。彼らが暮らすバルト海東岸がもたらす色彩からインスパイアされた作品をお楽しみください。
その場でお持ち帰りいただけるプリント作品や、刺繍を施した1点ものの作品、トートバッグやステッカーなどもご用意いたします。

OYSTERLAND STUDIO is an art unit formed by Sweden-based artists Camilla Blom and Johan Månsson. Following their first visit to Japan in 2023, this will be their second exhibition at Mamedenkyu Gallery.
The exhibition, entitled "VÅGLÄNGD" (Japanese title: Tone of Waves), will feature works that graphically express the rhythm and repetition of the sea. Please enjoy the works inspired by the colors of the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea where they live.
We will also have prints that you can take home on the spot, limited edition pieces, tote bags, stickers, and more.

当画廊では、作家の方とご相談しながらひとつひとつ丁寧に展示内容を計画し、開催しております。
その結果、準備期間が長くなりクローズしている日が多くなってしまっております。
当画廊にご興味を持っていただいた方には、お待たせしてしまい大変申し訳ございません。
ゆくゆくは展示のペースを上げていけるよう、日々努力してまいりますので、引き続きどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

We carefully plan and hold each exhibition in consultation with the artist.
As a result, the gallery is closed many days due to the long preparation time.
We apologize for the long wait for those who are interested in our gallery.
We will make every effort to increase the pace of our exhibitions in the future.
We will announce the exhibition here and on our SNS (Instagram, Facebook, andX).
We hope you will also take a look at our SNS, where we post information about our daily life, in addition to the exhibition information. (Especially on Instagram, we post almost every day!)
