Research Interest
My research interests span the areas of numerical analysis, mathematical modeling and scientific computing. I have a specific interest in development of numerical methods for the resolution of PDEs, numerical simulations and programming.
My work has mainly involved on high-order discretization of wave equations using FEM, DG, HDG methods in space coupled with Runge-Kutta, Pade and locally implicit time integration schemes.
Keywords: partial differential equation, finite element continuous and discontinuous methods, time integration schemes, one step explicit and implicit method, Runge-Kutta schemes, Pade schemes, high performance computing.
I am also interested on the development of numerical methods for the resolution of nonlinear multi-phase fluid flow in a porous media. Part of my research work focused on the development of scalable algorithm and nonlinear preconditioner to solve nonlinear two-phase flow problems in porous media.
Keywords: nonlinear coupled flow and transport problem, finite volume methods, TPFA, PPU, IHU, ASPIN, MSPIN, Newton method, SFI method
