Thank you so much for checking out my business! I feel truly blessed to do what I LOVE! Animals have always been an important part of my life. As a young girl, I took delight in taking care of my family's many cats and dogs. Once I became an adult, I discovered the importance of volunteering with animals as well as assisting in educating people on the significance of spaying and neutering. How lucky I feel to have a dream job! I have been operating Mama Mew’s Pet Care since 2022.
My professional experience includes working/volunteering directly with animals at local shelters. I became involved with several TNR (trap neuter return) programs as a volunteer working with feral cats. I previously served as a troop mentor/leader volunteer with Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians for several years. I briefly served as Executive Director of a local non-profit organization that assisted with transportation for a low-cost spay and neuter program and a pet food pantry.
I currently have 7 cats and a dog. They all have unique stories as how they came to live with my family. I do bring a binder to meet and greets which contains their stories if you are interested in learning more about them.
I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving your pets in my care. My goal is to make sure that I provide the best care possible to your pets. I try to ask plenty of questions so that I can thoroughly understand your pet’s needs. Providing a high level of professional service is incredibly important to me. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, please don't hesitate to contact me!
