Our core values are based on the equal value of all people and that everyone should be able to practice and have fun with Malavé Do on their own terms and according to their own conditions. But also to develop our students' ethics and morals.
Soke Ramon Malavé has lived his life according to the principle of living as one teaches.
Not to let great words remain just words, but putting your words into action.
To protect one's honor and stand by one's word and not give promises or empty threats that one cannot stand for.
To be humble and honest and at the same time brave and principled.
Not to say one thing and then do another.
To stand up for what you perceive as good - convenient or not.
To always do your best and to stand on your own merits - regardless of how others perform.
A fundamental principle in Malavé Do is that you are defined by your actions more than by your words. Our practical action in everyday life - not our words - shapes our image of ourselves and our worldview. Ultimately our contribution to humanity.
It should be safe to train in our branches and therefore we follow recommendations from "Safe Sport" and regularly check all our instructors against the police register. We also follow GDPR when handling and confidentiality of personal data.
Through our strong training concept and our inclusive basic approach to people, we also believe that we can achieve our vision:
"That Malavé Do becomes the most important kumite style worldwide thanks to our practitioners who have learned Malavé Do to excellence and are now spreading the knowledge further."
Malavé Do is based on innovative thinking and this permeates the style´s fundamental values.
Analyzing, questioning and testing critically, rejecting what does not work and always seeking new paths is an attitude that begins with Soke Ramon Malavé and is applied throughout the organization.
This attitude also influences the way all members think and practice karate.
Just like Soke Ramon Malavé's principles, the style and organization Malavé Do strive to do as good as possible - to become as good as possible.
The main success factors for Malavé Do as a karate style and art form can be summarized in the following points:
