Group Preparation
On December 27 2024, our team had a discussion and decided to visit the Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum as part of our plan to learn more about historical landmarks. Before the visit, we spent time researching the museum and gathering useful information about its location, exhibits, and visiting hours. This was done to ensure that our visit would go smoothly and that we would have a meaningful and enjoyable experience together.
Afterward, on December 30, 2024, our team gathered for another brief but important meeting where we focused on dividing tasks among the group members. This ensured that everyone had a clear understanding of their responsibilities, allowing us to stay organized and efficient in our preparations. During the meeting, we also discussed the budget for the trip, and after considering different options, we decided to take a maxim, which would cost RM95 for the round trip. Additionally, we learned that the entry ticket to the Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum would only cost RM10 per person, making it an affordable visit. With all the logistics in place, we finalized the date for our visit and agreed to meet on January 5, 2025, at 8 a.m. to begin the journey, making sure we would be well-prepared for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Group Strategies
Here's how our group planned and teamed up to make things happen!
Collaborative planning and research:
Our team worked together to research the Malacca Sultanate Palace Museum, gathering important information about the location, exhibits and visiting hours. This falls under collaborative planning, where the group collectively contributes to understanding the destination, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned on expectations.
Task Division and Delegation:

Budgeting and Cost Management:
Our team discussed the budget, researched the costs (RM95 for transportation and RM10 per ticket), and ensured the trip remained affordable. This is a key budgeting strategy, ensuring the trip is cost-effective for everyone and making financial decisions collaboratively.
Clear Communication and Coordination:
The decision to meet on January 5, 2025, at 8 a.m. and finalize the trip details shows strong communication within the team, ensuring everyone is on the same page about the date, time, and logistics of the trip.
