Safety first people, you should always swim between the flags - in this instance you start between Fishermans road and the Sydney Water property and fly toward the Randwick City Council Marine Surf Rescue 30 base. The target is up among the trees behind the surf rescue.

Ever played Snakes & Ladders and just when you think you’ve nailed it, you land on a snake and you’re back at square 1? These trees have the ability to do the same to your disc so choose your line carefully... ... and you should probably keep an eye out for snakes too.

A tight squeeze through the trees near the Malabar dog park, with a sharp dog-leg to the left for the blue tees. And keep an eye out for any other little surprises that might have been pinched out by a pooch.

This part of the course can get a little moist underfoot and there is thick bush on both sides of the gap at the start of the hole. Once you shoot the gap, curve around to the right to find the target. Giggity Giggity

Named after one of the more memorable moments in local cycling on Le Tour De Cromwell Park. From the tees, shoot the gap down the hill and drift your discs around the right – don't fold under the pressure!

9. LONG TAN LANE
The longest hole on the course, and possibly an important one to win if you want to claim victory over your disc golfing opponents. This hole runs parallel to Dacre Street and sits below the Juniors at Malabar on Ireton Street, home to the Malabar Returned Services League. Certainly a great place to head up to afterwards and re-tell your disc golfing war stories.

The Battle of Long Tan took place on 18 August 1966 in a rubber plantation near Nui Dat, Vietnam, when 105 soldiers from 6RAR Australian Army (and 3 from the Royal New Zealand Artillery) faced and fought around 2500 Viet Cong and forced their retreat.
