Welcome!


I am a Stipendiary Fellow in the School of Economics at the University of Edinburgh since August 2023.


I completed  my Ph.D.  in the Department of Economics and Related Studies at the University of York under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Pickering. I have a strong background in Economics with a BA from Ankara University, an MSc from University of Essex (with distinction) and an MRes from Queen Mary University of London.  My research interests lie in political economy and applied microeconomics. My current works focus on conflict, voting behaviour, elections, and campaign contributions.
