Makers@USM International Virtual Fair 2022 is an initiative that nurtures students in learning, designing, making, sharing, playing, participating, and many more on "something" they are passionate about doing. It is a platform to challenge students to innovate, create new ideas, troubleshoot and solve problems during making. The participants will exercise and improve their communication skills when showcasing their projects.

Background

Makers Fair has been organized annually at USM for the past few years. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic has decimated the fair and conferences. However, our physical event had become a virtual fair in 2020. Hopefully, this upcoming second virtual Makers Fair will be even bigger with more participation coming from international and local universities, colleges, secondary schools and primary schools.

Objectives

To provide an open platform for the international and local participants to interact, exchange and share innovative ideas globally.
To allow participants to gain worldwide exposure and work together to enhance new skills and knowledge from different perspectives to contribute and benefit the community.
