Makers Lab is an after-school activity for ISB students in grades 5, 6, and 7. The workshop takes place in the Design Room, Wednesdays from 14:00 to 15:10. There are only 8 places available. A minimum of 6 students is required to run the workshop; if this minimum is not met, any paid fees will be refunded.
All printmaking materials are included in the price; however, please ensure that students bring their own pencils.
Throughout the semester:
Progressive Learning: Different printmaking techniques will be introduced step by step, allowing students to build their skills gradually.
Hands-On Projects: After learning each technique, students will engage in hands-on projects to explore various design principles. By the end of each project, they’ll have created their own unique print design using the techniques they've learned.
Interactive Quizzes: Kahoot quizzes will be used to refresh and reinforce the concepts covered, ensuring students grasp the key ideas.
Final Exhibition: In the last session, parents are invited to an exhibition where students will showcase their designs and the progress they've made over the 15 weeks.
Mastery Certificates: During the exhibition, students who have mastered specific printmaking techniques will be awarded mastery certificates.
