Enabeling young minds to explore & create!
Makers Lab is an after school creative workshop for children in grades 1-10 at ISB. It offers a dynamic space where children can explore their creative potential, by engaging in hands-on projects. Our goal is to inspire young minds to explore, create, and grow.
At Makers Lab, students experiment with a variety of printmaking techniques, each offering different ways to express creativity. The work results in unique, custom-designed products such as t-shirts, bags, or cards, which the students keep themselves or give as gifts to friends and family. We place strong emphasis on student agency and, in collaboration with each group, also facilitate other creative projects such as crochet, painting, or similar activities.
At the end of each term, we hold an exhibition showcasing the students explorations and final designs.

Cristiane Hamnes
I am a substitute teacher at ISB and a graphic designer with many years experience. I'm passionate about design, teaching and personal development.
At Makers Lab, I will be guiding young minds to explore and develop their creativity, through hands-on printmaking projects where they create designs and products of their own.
