Research Interest: Utilization of foraminifera (planktic and benthic, mostly agglutinated) for oceanography, ecology, climatology, environmental analysis (both modern and ancient), biostratigraphy, taxonomy, systematics, and biodiversity. This includes not only fossil assemblages but also Holocene to recent sediment-based materials.
