Task 4

This was the first image I tried to edit. 

Unfortunately the changes didn't appear very different due to the night sky. 

I cropped the metro sign from below and centred the image. 

I then edited the photo accordingly to enhance the lighting on the parliament.

 I wasn't completely happy with the outcome, so I decided to take a photo in the daylight and edit it instead.

 This can be seen below. 

I have edited a picture of the parliament using Apple Photos. 

I cropped some of the sky and grass to reduce empty space. I kept the dome centred and tilted the image to the right to make it appear more centralised. 

I increased the exposure and brilliance to make the details in the building clearer.

I lowered highlights to keep the clouds from being too bright, and I increased shadows. 

I added some contrast in order to make the building stand out more against the sky.

Finally, I added a small amount of saturation in order to make the image brighter, but I made sure to not overdo it.
