Public Information (PI) Committee News
Eight fellows from the Maine Chapter shared information with approximately 100 Nurse Practitioners at the Maine Nurse Practitioner Association Conference on April 16th and 17th. They estimate 26 substantive conversations, which will help the NPs bring information about FA back to their patients.
If you are inspired to help in this way, there are two more events where fellows from the Maine Chapter will have the opportunity to share about the FA program.
Please reach out to Shirley at famainetreasurer@gmail.com if you are interested in volunteering on May 13th, in Augusta, at the Hope Conference. And stay tuned for details related to an event in June in Augusta.

Tool For Today
ABSTINENCE
In the past, addictive eating was our most common reaction to life. We obtain abstinence from addictive eating by weighing, measuring, and committing our food to an FA sponsor. We have found that we must abstain completely from all flour and sugar.
