Mai Aye Aye Aung has over 18 years of experience in leadership, management, higher education administration, and peace studies. She is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments and advancing peace and justice within educational settings while skillfully managing the complexities of organizational structures.
She currently serves as Director of the Peace Studies Center, Head of Business and Management Department, and Associate Professor in Liberal Arts Program at Myanmar Institute of Theology (MIT). In addition to her roles at MIT, Mai Aye Aye Aung has recently completed her Ph.D. at the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics at Assumption University, Thailand. She also holds a Master of Business Administration from Assumption University and a Master of Arts in Peace Studies from MIT.
