Learning American Mahjong is an enjoyable endeavor when taught at the correct pace building up to a complete understanding of the Hands & Rules Card. 

Long term friendships are forged through the fun activity of American Mahjong and you will build mental acuity as well.

Saturdays from 1-3pm or 4-6pm or 6-8pm. Sundays. Mondays based on availability. Tuesdays 6-8pm. Wednesdays 3-5 or 6-8. Thursdays depending on availability. Fridays 12pm-2pm.

Four students minimum. (Not including me.)

Eight hours is the minimum to start to feel comfortable with American Mahjong.

Hands & Rules card is $14 (std - from me) or $15 (lg print) from the National League. It can be purchased from National Mah Jongg League, Inc. directly. nationalmahjonggleague.org

In warm weather I am near Lincoln & Wilshire in Santa Monica. Otherwise I can teach at your home if you have a square or round table the size of a card table.

Attendance is mandatory as others are depending on you in this 4-person game :) and that is why there are no refunds, unless the class is cancelled.

Cost for one 2-hour tile identification, groupings and intro to the hands and rules card with 70 + hands is  $100 per student. Pay the $14 + $100. This intro class will teach you the tiles, sets, terminology and the beginning of learning the National Mah Jongg League Inc. card.$100 deposit (for two hours).
