1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MahjongGame (the “Game”), provided by Prism Games (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use of the Game.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to install and use the Game for private, non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, in accordance with applicable platform rules.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not:
• copy, sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the Game except where expressly permitted by law;
• reverse engineer, decompile, modify, translate, or create derivative works from the Game, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
• use cheats, automation, bots, modified clients, exploits, or unauthorized software to interfere with the Game;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data, disrupt service, transmit malicious code, or circumvent technical protections;
• use the Game unlawfully or infringe the rights of Prism Games or others.
5. Game Progress and Virtual Items
The Game may include scores, progress, virtual currency, boosters, or other virtual items. They are licensed, not sold; have no real-world monetary value; cannot be exchanged for cash; and are non-transferable except where the Game expressly permits. We may modify, rebalance, limit, or discontinue virtual items when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
6. In-App Purchases
If purchases are available, they are processed by the applicable app store or platform. Prices, taxes, payment, refunds, and cancellation rights are governed by the platform’s rules and applicable law. You are responsible for purchases made through your account unless unauthorized under applicable platform or consumer-protection rules. We may require a valid transaction record to restore or verify a purchase.
7. Ownership
The Game, including software, artwork, designs, music, text, trademarks, and other content, is owned by or licensed to Prism Games and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.
8. Updates and Availability
We may update the Game to add, remove, or change features; improve security or performance; correct errors; or comply with legal and platform requirements. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Game where reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the Game will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Game and forms part of your relationship with us.
10. Third-Party Platforms and Links
Your use of app stores and other third-party services is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Game is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prism Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity arising from the Game. Our total liability for claims relating to the Game will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us for the Game during the 12 months before the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
13. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate Prism Games for reasonable losses, liabilities, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the Game or material breach of these Terms. This section does not apply where prohibited by consumer law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Game, or create legal or security risk. Upon termination, you must stop using the Game. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective.
15. Governing Rules and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections in your country or region. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally. Courts or dispute-resolution bodies with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear unresolved disputes.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Game, law, or our business. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
