Documentary by: EcoForward( Mahin Rahman, Md. Sabbir Hossain and Md. Emon)
We team EcoForward identified the no filtration of the stored rainwater in Sonailtola Union Parishad of Mongla, Bagerhat, Khulna Bangladesh. Sonailtola is the coastal area of Bangladesh. There is a huge scarcity of drinking water as the water is saline. So, people need to harvest rainwater in the rainy season but this water is not safe for them as there is no filtration in their harvesting process. There is also no sustainable water source in the dry season. We have presented how people can use moringa seeds for filtration as they are cheap and locally available. How water treatment plants can solve the problem in the dry season as well. We give more emphasis on sustainable management and distribution networks to solve the water scarcity problem in the dry season.
