He is a Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Guwahati. During his Ph.D. at IITG, he worked on the effect of geometric and flow variables on hemodynamics in carotid artery bifurcation. Later, he gained experience in patient-based blood flow modeling of cerebral aneurysms and worked at the Department of Neurosurgery, SCTIMST Trivandrum. During his postdoc at TU Madrid, he also worked on CFD modeling of left ventricle models for early diagnosis of heart diseases. Currently, he is working as an MSCA postdoc fellow on a European Commission funded project entitled "VThrombectomy: Improving Treatment of Acute Ischemic stroke using virtual thrombectomy. This work intends to improve acute ischemic stroke treatment outcomes. This work is being carried out at the Computational Biomechanics Lab (LaBS-CompBiomech), Polytechnic University of Milan.
