My research philosophy is to work on real-world problems and develop advanced, customised state-of-the-art solutions that have value for both industry and academia. My research expertise is in developing forecasting and decision-making models.

Problem: Moldeing the Fuel Market in QLD.
Project Outcomes: Underway
Spatio Temporal Probabilistic Forecasting, Energy QLD, Australia
Problem: Developing a hierarchical forecasting model for predicting energy demand in QLD.
Project Outcomes: Underway
Forecasting solar power, electricity deand, and price to minimise energy costs, Australia
Problem: Developing a model for a solar power microgrid with the aim of reducing energy costs.
Project Outcomes: Developed forecasting models for electricity price and demand, as well as solar power, that were used for scheduling battery operation in Microgrid.
Predict and optimise wastewater, Urban Utility, Australia.
Problem: Developing a predictive and prescriptive model for optimising the wastewater treatment operation.
Project Outcomes: Developed machine learning forecasting models and a scheduling model to optimise the operation.
Forecasting Promotional sales of food: Sanitarium Health and Wellbeing, Australia
Problem: Forecasting sales during promotional periods and optimising inventory
Project Outcomes: Developed forecasting models for sales across states and stores. Resulted in 19% improvement in accuracy and 12% reduction in inventory & operations costs.
Hierarchical Demand Forecasting, QLD Health, Australia
Problem: Developing a hierarchical forecasting model for predicting demand across health providers in QLD.
