Kaijin

Kaijin (怪人) literally stands for "Mysterious Person/Being", but almost always refers to monsters. Arguably, the most popular usage of this term comes from Shotaro Ishinomori's works such as Kamen Rider. Recently, other works such as One Punch Man have also popularised it further.
