TTU K-12, a unit of the Texas Tech University eLearning & Academic Partnerships division, is an approved, print-based and online kindergarten through 12th grade school that has been meeting students' needs for 25 years. Affiliated with Texas Tech University, a Carnegie tier-one research institution, TTU K-12 boasts a rigorous curriculum that allows students to work ahead, make up failed credits and achieve their goals.
TTU K-12 began in 1993 as a "Special Purpose District" designed to help students whose educational needs were not adequately met by traditional school districts. Since then, we have grown to serve students across the country and in over 60 nations around the world.
Our program is approved by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), which ensures all TTU K-12 curriculum meets the standards set by the State of Texas and that students will be prepared for the TAKS, STAAR and EOC exams. TTU K-12 is also approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).

Throughout my years in public education I have always put KIDS FIRST! Their needs, their learning style, and their mastery of content! In the public school realm that was often met with red tape and hoops that just weren't always fair. I have for years dreamed of a school where students mastery of content dictated the pacing of instruction rather than their age, days in the classroom or a standardized test.
Every step in my career path since 2014-2015*, has provided me opportunities towards this dream, although I didn't always know it.
2020 has been a very strange and unprecedented year for all of us but starting towards my dream school this Fall, I see as a silver
lining.
*my final school year in Irving ISD after 9 years and where I started my career because I was now married with two daughters under age 2 and had just moved to Mansfield!
