Currently Magnolia is a coverband, however when we undertook the new name "Magnolia" we decided to finally start creating our own original music. This is a very exciting change for all of us, as we have all wanted to make original music since we began, however we felt we hadn't quite reached a skill level high enough for it to be our first recorded song. Now, however, we are much more confident and we are excited to bloom into this next chapter of our band.

Magnolia is a rock band; we play a lot of Southern Rock, Grunge, and Post-Grunge. Usually the majority of our setlist is songs made by these bands:
Lynyrd Skynard
Foo Fighters
Hootie & The Blowfish
Pearl Jam
The Black Crowes
Pride and Glory
Zach Wylde
The listed bands and example setlist should give you a good idea of what kind of band we are. We play a lot of Southern Rock, a solid amount of Grunge and Post-Grunge, as well as a little bit of everything in between. We do our very best to make sure that no time feels dull or boring. We try our best to make sure something is happening at all times, whether it is Tyler talking, or Brayden absolutely shredding. We often try to come up with cool and creative ways to transition from different songs smoothly. For example, at our last show, once we finished Can't You See by the Marshall Tucker Band, we would go into a heavier groove in order to go straight into Cumbersome. However, we make sure that we also don't do too much as that can make the fun and cool moments feel basic and dull.
