Plouressa

Plouressas are a very large fruit, averaging about 1’ when standing upright. It can grow in just about any climate. They are a light blue with orangish yellow spots, and they’re pear shaped. The seeds are mostly at the bottom and the fruit itself is mostly hollow, filled with a weirdly viscous juice.

When it’s done being on the tree, it falls to the ground and bursts open, getting the seeds and juice everywhere. The cyanide content in Plouressa seeds is considerably higher than most other fruit seeds, which makes them not as safe to eat. Animals sometimes eat them anyway. (its not enough to kill you with just a few seeds)

They taste like a weird mixture of pear, citrus, and honeydew, and the juice can leave a sticky feeling at the back of your throat.
