High School Solo and Ensemble is held the 1st Tuesday in March at CSI.

Directors register students to perform a solo or ensemble in front of an adjudicator. Solos and ensembles that would like to be considered for advancement to State Solo and Ensemble Championship must follow state rules and be a grade level one. Students are welcome to perform a solo or ensemble that is not a grade level one for further expansion of their musical experience, preparation for future years participation, and constructive feedback from a music adjudicator. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students become even more independent in their musical journey and gain skills that can only be found in solo and small ensemble playing.
