When former University of Oklahoma softball pitcher, Stacy Braddock Dunn, moved to Billings, MT with her family of six she quickly started dreaming about how she could help the area's junior olympic softball girls have more opportunities through the game. "4 the Girls" Challenger's aim is to be that tournament the entire family talks about the memories made for years to come. Siblings at the tournament can be found turning in foul balls for free blow pops! Many players can be found walking away with bougie freebies they won/earned, while the remaining will leave with their chins up high and wanting more from this game in the future.
Stacy has played fast-pitch softball though USA/ASA Softball since 1994. In this tournament, Stacy takes the best of her experiences and pays it forward. Thank you to the Billings Umpires Association, City of Billings, USA Softball of Montana, and the Billings Blizzard Fastpitch non-profit organization for getting behind this tournament to make it a reality. We hope it blesses the greater softball community!
