Reading

These stories are good to read aloud (say the words). You can also practice your speed, how fast you read.

Directions:

1. Click the link to access the reading. (The links to the stories are below.)

2. Notice the "Pre-reading", "Post-reading", and "Supplement" on the left side of the page. Those tabs include vocabulary and questions. You will need to write your answers in your notebook.

3. Take a few minutes to read and review the story.

4. Scroll down the page until you see "1st Reading", "2nd Reading", and "3rd Reading" in the blue/green boxes below the story. You can listen or read along with the audio.  Each reading is a little faster than the one before it.
