Growing up, I often found myself alone, with little companionship in the real world. But I was never truly alone—I had video games. Characters like Sora and Riku became my companions when I had none, offering comfort and adventure. At nine years old, my mother gifted me my first console, a PlayStation 2, and from that moment, I was captivated. I poured hours into those worlds, even if it meant drowsy days at school. Those games gave me an escape, a place of belonging and joy when I needed it most.
As I’ve gotten older, I've witnessed others seeking the same escape I once found, yet I've also seen the companies that once crafted these worlds begin to lose sight of that essential magic. Games that once offered refuge and adventure have increasingly become about profit, with microtransactions, season passes, and expensive DLCs becoming the norm. Titles are stretched with unnecessary sequels, while that sense of wonder and immersion fades. That’s why I helped found Mad Tea Party—to pick up where they left off and create worlds where people can find solace, companionship, and the thrill of adventure. My mission is to give players a place to belong, a world that exists just for them, a reminder that sometimes we all need an escape.
The name “Mad Tea Party” has a special meaning. Long before I embarked on this journey, my wife called me her “Mad Hatter”, a beautifully eccentric man who offered her a world of his own. As we built our life together, the name took root, and when the time came to start this venture, it felt only right to carry it forward.
Mad Tea Party exists as a mission of love, a journey inspired by the desire to create immersive worlds that welcome and comfort. I hope you enjoy my games, created for you with care and passion.
