First, warm- up

Second, go over the note lengths and letter names. Do you need to go back and check any fingerings before we move on?

Third, write in the notes names or note lengths for any tricky spots in the music

Fourth, say the letter names while doing the fingerings

Finally, play the tune. Any problem areas? Go back to the earlier steps to review.

**See the apostrophe's in the music? Those are called breath marks. Try to practice taking a nice big breath at each of the breath marks.
