Professional Goals

After graduation, I will be attending IUPUC to complete their accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing program. This is a 14-month program that I will begin in the summer of 2023. It is my hope to obtain my RN and start my career in healthcare at the VA. My hope is to obtain knowledge and understanding of clinical operations to better prepare me for my managerial role in the future.

After I complete my BSN, I will have my health services management degree and my RN. I believe these two degrees will set me up for success because working as an RN will allow me to better understand the individuals I will be managing in the future. Once I gain experience as an RN, I would love to become a practice or unit manager. Additionally, my professional goals are to further my communication skills and become a mentor to those who are less experienced.
