next batch processing: Aug 22 (ETA: Mid September) | free shipping on all orders worth at least P2,500!
Since MBM works on a pre-order basis, there are designated processing dates (aka. batch cut-off dates) that are announced via IG story and on this site. Typically, there are 2 batches that open up every month (usually on the first or third weekend of the month, but these will be announced on Instagram) with each batch having a limited number of slots. Slots are dependent on the number of customers, not the number of items bought per customer – so a customer may purchase 3 pieces but only take up 1 slot.
Each batch of orders will be ready and delivered within 3-4 weeks after the processing date, barring any complications! Slowing down enables the MBM team to bring you pieces made with authenticity, integrity, and the purpose of moving purposefully. That said, please be patient with the timeline as it ensures that each garment is carefully and ethically made.
With the vision of promoting sustainable, inclusive, and local fashion, Made By Maia aims to create wardrobe staples – the perfect versatile basics that could be worn by anyone, anytime, anywhere.
Made By Maia also offers a wide variety of sizes to make sure that everyone feels included and may have their own staple piece.
Each piece is carefully handmade in the Philippines. Most, if not all, of the materials used are locally sourced from Filipino merchants to promote a sense of pride for our hardworking Filipinos.
Hello! This small business is being managed and sustained by a 4th-year college student, Maia. I'm self-taught and I've always had a love for crafting. Having more time to myself in quarantine, I wanted to find more hobbies & interests, as well as enhance my skills–hence the birth of Made By Maia! While my small business was initially just a crochet photo diary, it eventually grew into what it is today–a slow, sustainable, and local small store. With all the overwhelming support I receive per batch, I've also recently decided to get extra help from local & trusted seamstresses. In doing so, I'll be able to continue my studies while offering a platform and opportunity where these artisans can enhance their skills & showcase their craftsmanship! Btw, these seamstresses will be paid the proper wages they deserve! Ultimately, I believe that this strengthens & supports my vision of supporting Filipino artisans and merchants ☻
