CardScout allows users to scan sports trading cards and view related card information, including estimated values.

Card details and estimated values are retrieved from publicly available card information sources.
No personal user data is transmitted during this process.
CardScout uses the Facebook SDK (Meta Platforms, Inc.) for advertising purposes.
The Facebook SDK may automatically collect certain device-level or advertising-related information, such as:

Advertising identifiers (such as IDFA, where permitted)
App interaction events
Approximate location (derived from IP address)
This data collection is handled directly by Meta in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

CardScout is designed to minimize data exposure:
Card scanning occurs on-device
No personal user accounts are created
No card scan history is stored on external servers
Security protections are provided by your device’s operating system and third-party SDK safeguards.
CardScout does not retain personal user data.
Any temporary scan data is discarded immediately after processing.
Advertising-related data retention is governed by Meta’s policies.
CardScout does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
