Introduction
Welcome to Mad Grading (“we”, “our”, “us”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application Mad Grading (the “App”).
Information We Collect
(a) Personal Data
We do not collect, store, or share personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or precise location.
(b) Gameplay Data / Puzzle Progress
Mad Grading provides grading-themed puzzle gameplay, answer-checking challenges, score results, stage progress, hints, and related game features.
The App may store gameplay data such as:
Completed questions, rounds, stages, or challenges
Scores, grades, ranks, result history, or feedback records
Hint usage or available hint counts, if applicable
Favorite or saved results, if available
Game records, grading history, collection lists, or local history, if available
Rewarded ad benefit status, if applicable
App settings related to sound, vibration, language, theme, display, or UI preferences
On-device Storage: These records are stored locally on your device.
No Upload by Us: We do not upload your gameplay progress, scores, grades, result history, local records, or app settings to our own servers.
Sharing is User-Initiated: If you choose to share screenshots, exported images, text, game results, or other content, that content is handled by the destination app or service under its own privacy policy.
(c) Usage Data / Anonymous Technical Data
To improve the app experience, we may collect limited, anonymous usage and technical data such as:
App version and device model
Basic interaction data, such as feature usage, button taps, screen visits, game mode usage, level progress events, hint usage events, grading result events, or session length
Crash logs and performance analytics through Google Play services, Firebase, or similar tools, if used
This data is not intended to directly identify you and is used to improve app performance, stability, usability, gameplay balance, and reliability.
(d) Local App Data / Settings and Preferences
Mad Grading may store the following information locally on your device:
App settings and preferences, such as language selection, theme options, sound options, vibration settings, display options, or UI preferences
Local game progress, completed challenge lists, score records, grading history, and save data
Local caches and app resources used for faster loading
Saved app state or recent settings for convenience
This information is stored only on your device using local storage technologies such as SharedPreferences, local databases, or similar methods. We do not sync this data to our own servers.
(e) Advertising and Billing Data
If the App displays ads through Google AdMob or similar ad networks, those providers may collect advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID, to show personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
The App may also use Google Play Billing or similar services to process in-app purchases, such as removing ads or unlocking premium features. Billing data, including purchase history, is handled by Google according to its own policies. We do not receive your full payment details.
(f) Notifications and Background Features
If enabled, the App may use local notifications or similar system features for reminders, event alerts, reward reminders, update notices, or other app-related notices.
These notifications are generated on your device. We do not use them to collect personal data.
If the App provides background features, such features are used only to support the App’s gameplay, reminder, or convenience features.
(g) Clipboard / Export / Sharing Features
If the App provides copy, export, save, screenshot, or share-related features, copied or shared content is handled through system services on your device. We do not receive clipboard contents.
If you choose to share gameplay results, grading results, screenshots, exported images, or other files with another app or service, that destination app or service may handle the shared content according to its own privacy policy.
(h) Audio, Vibration, and Device Features
Mad Grading may play sound effects, background music, UI sounds, or other audio feedback on your device.
The App may also use vibration or haptic feedback if supported by your device and enabled in settings.
We do not record your audio by default.
We do not upload your audio to our own servers.
We do not use audio features to collect personal conversations.
If the App later provides microphone-based features, microphone access will only be used for that specific feature and only after permission is granted.
Data Storage and Security
We do not store user data on our own servers. App settings, caches, local gameplay progress, completed challenge lists, score records, grading history, save data, and local records are stored locally on your device.
No personal data is transmitted externally by us, aside from what is handled by third-party services such as ads, analytics, diagnostics, and billing under their own policies.
We take reasonable measures within the scope of a mobile app to protect the data stored on your device, but you are also responsible for keeping your device secure.
Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services that can collect information used to identify you or your device. These may include, but are not limited to:
Google AdMob – for displaying ads
Google Play Services / Firebase – for analytics, crash reporting, or diagnostics, if used
Google Play Billing – for handling in-app purchases, if used
These third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they use your data. We encourage you to review their policies before using the App.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
