For our first prototype for the landin gear, we dimensioned the end of the drone, then created and tested multiple designs in solid works, to eventully make our final design.

This designs represents a clip that would go into the slits in the end of the drone arms
For our final design we printed a system where there is a peg that is insrted through the side of the drone, rather then the bottom for more stability
