As of July 25, 2017, Apple has released a security update for all supported Macs with Wi-Fi. If left unchecked, a virus could be installed over Wi-Fi without your knowing allowing someone to record everything you write or see on your screen.
For an explanation from Apple, see: Update the software on your Mac and About the macOS Sierra 10.12.6 Update.
To update your Mac, go to “App Store…” in the Apple Menu, then click “Updates”.
Your Mac will check for updates.
For a shortcut, you can press “Update All” and let your Mac work away. You’ll need your Apple ID password for this. Otherwise, look for updates with the macOS icon next to them; these are the most important ones.
Click the “Update” button next to any updates with this icon next to them. You may need your computer password.
If you see macOS Sierra Update Version 10.12.6 under the “Installed…” header, like above, then it’s already installed and you’re good.
Otherwise,
click the “Update” or “Restart” button next to the update.

Your Mac will warn you that this update will require a restart, and so you’ll be interrupted. Click “Download and Restart” (the blue button) to continue.

When done, your Mac will give you a 60-second countdown and restart.

Repeat the above steps until no updates are available.
Go to System Preferences (from the Apple Menu, Spotlight, or the Dock).
Click on "App Store". Check off every box (except for "Automatically download apps purchased on other Macs". That one's optional).
