The MACRO Approach looks at the big picture when it comes to effective career readiness training and development of the workforce. MACRO supports the community of Career Readiness Organizations through cross-sector collaboration and connection to supportive resources in order to foster a more holistic development of the workforce.

New Infographic outlining what you need to know about Workforce Pell!

The Metro Alliance of Career Readiness Organizations (MACRO) is working diligently to ensure that our community of partners are aware of and prepared for Workforce Pell.

Workforce Pell could be an opportunity for additional funding for MACRO Partners, specifically Community Colleges, and Trade/Technical schools. Workforce Pell is intended to be stackable with existing WIOA training grants.

Shorter term training programs can be subcontracted out as an educational provider for a longer term program that meets Workforce Pell requirements so long as the instruction from the subcontracted provider does not exceed 25% of the total instruction.

What is a Non-Traditional Postsecondary Training Program?

Non-Traditional Postsecondary Workforce Training Organizations are a diverse ecosystem of trainings which serve some of the most critically in-demand career pathways such as Construction/Skilled Trades, Healthcare, Advanced Manufacturing, Transportation, and the Service Industry.

Defining a more holistic development of the workforce:

MACRO believes that the following educational pillars combine to build a foundation of knowledge which allows jobseekers to to reach self-actualization to not just receive initial employment, but retain that employment and achieve life stability.
