ABOUT US

MacNeill Secondary is a member of the Richmond Secondary Schools Athletic Association and our teams can qualify to compete for South Fraser zone playoffs and BC provincial championships.

Our Goal

While many of our teams practice hard and embrace competition and many student-athletes have gone on to represent BC and Canada and compete at the university level, our most important goal is to encourage as many students as possible to participate in athletics by representing the school as a team member, manager, coach, by volunteering as a scorer or timer or simply attending games and cheering for the Ravens.

We measure our success primarily in the numbers of students who are actively participating in MacNeill Athletics as we believe this involvement creates a positive and lasting influence on students' sense of belonging and school pride.

Expectations

We expect our student-athletes to be attending classes regularly, maintaining satisfactory academic achievement in all of their classes and to be positive citizens in the wider school community.

As thousands of students have done in the past, whenever you put on the blue and yellow Ravens jersey, you are expected to be committed to practicing and playing hard and representing your school with pride, sportsmanship and class at all times.
