The 2nd mobility of the MACHIS Erasmus+ project officially started in Warsaw, Poland!
Students and teachers from Poland, Austria, Portugal, and Türkiye came together for an unforgettable international experience. The first day began with fun ice-breaker activities that helped participants get to know each other and build international friendships.
The programme continued with presentations about the education systems of the partner countries and the official welcome meeting at school. During the workshop “What’s the Next Line?”, students used creativity and teamwork while preparing dramatic scenes together.
Participants also joined the “Reenacting Important Moments of Polish History” activity, where historical events were brought to life through drama and role-play. In the afternoon, the “Time Travel Interviews” workshop encouraged students to step into different historical periods and characters.
The day ended with a city tour and historical games around Warsaw, making the first mobility day both educational and unforgettable.
The second day of the MACHIS project was full of culture and history!
Participants visited the beautiful city of Gdańsk and explored Poland’s rich historical and cultural heritage. Visits to Gdańsk Old Town and the Museum of the Second World War gave students a deeper understanding of history.
The day continued with drama and history-based activities, followed by visits to Neptune’s Fountain, Main Town Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, and Artus Court.
The third day of the MACHIS project combined creativity, drama, and history!
The day started with the “Radio Drama: History Speaks” activity, where students explored historical storytelling through voice acting and performance. Participants then watched a special reenactment of a famous historical event from Austria, performed by Polish students at the Museum of Living History.
Later, international teams worked together on writing scripts and performing short plays based on key moments in history. Through drama and teamwork, students brought historical events to life in a creative and engaging way.
The day ended with a sightseeing visit to the Royal Castle in Warsaw, giving participants the chance to discover another important symbol of Polish history and culture.
Day 4 & 5 — 20–21 May 2026
The final days of the MACHIS project were filled with creativity, collaboration, and unforgettable memories!
Participants acted out famous Warsaw legends through creative drama activities and continued working in international teams throughout the project.
One of the most meaningful activities was preparing project posters together. Each country added an important historical figure or national symbol representing its own culture and history, and then presented it to the other participants. Through these presentations, students learned more about each other’s heritage while improving their communication and teamwork skills.
The mobility ended with evaluation activities, certificate ceremonies, and an international farewell party where participants shared traditional dishes from Poland, Portugal, Austria, and Türkiye.
