Metamorph was initially a project funded by Machina Corp to see if it was possible to make truly sentient robots. Unfortunately, the project was discontinued after the death of Metamorph's creator, leaving him unfinished. However, they appear to be alive and sentient despite the project being a "supposed" failure. It doesn't help that he acts eerily similar to their creator, and lacks any memories prior to being powered on...

It seems with this latest update to their system, their personality now truly reflects their creator's... How strange...
