Go from ZERO to YUM in 30 minutes or less!
2 C flour
2 Tbsp sugar
4 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
3 Tbsp COLD butter
⅔ C milk
1 C Craisins (Blueberries, Raspberries, whatever... )
Heat oven to 425. Grease cookie sheet.
Combine dry ingredients.
Cut butter into cubes and add into dry mixture. Use your fingers to combine with mixture. It will be crumbly.
Add Craisins into the mixture, stir and remove clusters.
Slowly pour milk into mixture, mixing while adding it in. You just need the dough to come together. It will be quite sticky.
*I have had to add a little more or a little less, so watch your texture.
Using the big mouth spoons from the silverware drawer, drop the mixture onto the greased cookie sheet in large mounds.
Bake anywhere from 12 -15 minutes or until puffed up and golden.
Remove from cookie sheet right away to prevent burnt bottoms.
Bon appétit!
Fast, easy, and oh-so delicious!
1 Frozen Pie crust, bottom only
4 Large eggs
1 C. Milk (1% or 2%)
Dab of salt and pepper to your taste
1C. Shredded cheese ( I mix and match the leftovers in the bottom of the bags)
1C. (approx) spinach, frozen (thawed) or fresh (chopped)
Heat oven to 375. Bake empty pie crust for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix all ingredients.
Once the crust has baked 15 minutes, remove from oven. Pour egg mixture into hot crust and return to oven. Reduce oven to 350. Bake until the center is just about set, usually around 1 hour, but sometimes longer. Be patient, it's worth it! If the edges of your crust start to burn, tear thin strips of foil and gently cover the edges to keep from browning further.
Feeling creative? Throw in some ham or whatever sounds interesting! This is a blank canvas so have some fun!
