Charlie and Mabel had camped at Huntington Point since 1919. In the 1930's, he purchased land and when business slowed at his "Kentville Concrete" he and his worker partners went to the shore to see what they could build. To prove its durabiity as a building medium, they fashioned five cottages using concrete with stone and wood.
Of the five Cottages constructed, four remain. The Teapot was unceremoniously bulldozed into the Bay in the 1980's
